oud and bass recorded M/S stereo,
preamped with old API console, recorded
in Protools 48kHz using Apogee converters.
mix setup:
Protools HD into analogue Neve VRP console,
no plugs or in the box FX, mix recorded
thru DAD converters 24bit/96kHz.
Oud and bass played up to 4 overdubs
and a total of 9 M/S stereo tracks
were put in the mix (analogue on the board)
as such, for maximum transparency.
used gear:
Quantec QRS, Lexicon 960 & 480,
EMT 244 reverbs; GML, Avalon, TubeTec EQs;
Manley, Avalon, Summit, Focusrite dynamics.
Mastered with Pyramix software and Jünger hardware.
